General safety guidelines
The CTE 1-mA sensor has a passive 4-20 mA two-wire interface. The power
supply is provided externally or by the controller. When the sensor is
connected to the DULCOMETER
requirements are met automatically.
Additional safety guidelines, when using an alternative controller:

Slide the O-ring from below over the electrode shaft up to the clamping
ring.
Insert the sensor into the DLG III.
Fix the sensor tightly by screwing in the plug.
Slide the O-ring from below over the electrode shaft up to the clamping
ring. Leave a flat washer inside the DGM.
Insert the sensor in the DGM and screw on the plug until the O-ring seals.
The clamping ring determines the installation depth of the sensor.
Installation
IMPORTANT
Install in such as way as to ensure a totally reliable,
uninterrupted power supply to the controller. Too low a
voltage supply can cause measuring failures, which may
result in dangerous overdosing within a control system.
IMPORTANT
• If you intend to connect the sensor to devices other than
ProMinent's, please contact our local subsidiary
• The power supply for the sensor must never fall below
16 V DC, even for a short period. The power supply must
be able to bear a minimum load of 35 mA at 16 V DC. Too
low voltage supply can cause measuring failures, which
may result in dangerous overdosing within a control
system.
• The sensor is not electrically isolated. In order to avoid
interfering currents ensure potential isolation of sensor,
power supply and other devices connected to the
measuring/evaluation instrument.
