• When working in pump chambers, a second person
must be always present for safety reasons. Take the
necessary countermeasures if there is a risk of toxic or
suffocating gases collecting!
• Please also observe the applicable national accident
prevention regulations and trade association safety
provisions.

A suspension unit must be installed for wet well instal-
lation. This must be ordered from the manufacturer
separately. The pipe system on the pressure side is
connected to this. The connected pipe system must be
self-supporting, i.e. it may not be supported by the
suspension unit. The operating space must be laid out
so that the suspension unit can be installed and ope-
rated without difficulty.
1 Install the suspension unit in the operating space and
prepare the product for being operated on a suspen-
sion unit.
2 Check that the suspension unit is firmly fixed and
functions properly.
3 A trained electrician should connect the product to the
mains and check the direction of rotation in accor-
dance with chapter Commissioning.
4 Secure the lifting gear to the product, lift the product
and then lower slowly on to the guide pipes in the
operating space. Hold the power supply cables slightly
taut when lowering. When the product is connected to
the suspension unit, make sure that the power supply
cables are secured adequately against falling off and
damage.
5 The correct operating position is reached automatically
and the pressure connection is sealed by its own
weight.
6 For new installation: Flood operating space and vent
the pressure pipe.
7 Operate the product in accordance with chapter Com-
missioning.

Beware of damage to the threaded bushes!
Excessively long screws and different flanges
lead to tearing of the threaded bushes.
Therefore, please pay attention:
Only use threaded bolts M16 with max. length of
12...16 mm.
Max. tightening torque is 50 Nm.
Only use flange in accordance with DIN 2576
type B (without sealing strip).
This requirement is guaranteed with the use of
Wilo accessories.

In this installation type, the product must be equipped
with a pump support foot (available as an option). This
is attached to the suction port and ensures minimum
ground clearance and a secure footing if placed on a
solid bearing surface. In this version, the pump can be
positioned anywhere in the operating space. If used in
an operating space with a soft bearing surface, a hard
base must be used to prevent sinking. A pressure hose
is connected on the pressure side.
If operated for longer periods of time in this installation
type, the unit must be fastened to the floor. This pre-
vents vibration and ensures quiet and low-wearing
running.
1 Install the pump support foot on the suction connec-
tion.
2 Install the pipe elbow on the pressure connection.
3 Fasten the pressure hose to the pipe elbow with a hose
clip.
Alternatively, a Storz pipe coupling can be installed on
the pipe elbow and a Storz hose coupling can be
installed on the pressure hose.
4 Lay the power supply cable such that it cannot be
damaged.
5 Position the product in the operating space. If neces-
sary, secure lifting gear to the handle, lift the product
and then lower to the intended location (pump cham-
ber, pit).
6 Check that the product is vertical and on a solid bear-
ing surface. Avoid sinking!
7 A trained electrician should connect the product to the
mains and check the direction of rotation in accord-
ance with chapter Commissioning.
8 Lay the pressure hose such that it is not damaged. If
required, fasten it to a certain point (e.g. drainage).
Risk of tearing of the pressure hose!
Uncontrolled tearing or movement of the pres-
sure hose can result in injuries. Secure the pres-
sure hose appropriately. Prevent buckling of the
pressure hose.
