Putting the Telephone into Operation
Setting the language for the display indicators
The language for the display is set by using the menu. Refer to Page 151 for the
sequence of option selections.
Setting the time and date on the handset
The time and date are set via the menu. Refer to Page 152 for the sequence of
option selections.

Private branch exchanges

If you want to connect the telephone to a private branch exchange, more informa-
tion is provided on Page 147.

Dialling mode

The telephone can be operated in analogue exchanges (PULSE) as well as new,
digital exchanges (TONE/DTMF). The dialling mode is controlled via the menu.
