TEST SOLUTION
-
Check door seal.
-
Check for exhaust damage.
-
Check that venting is installed correctly.
-
Room is in negative pressure; increase fresh air supply.
-
Verify the wire for the ignitor are correctly connected to the
module and pilot assembly.
-
Verify no loose connections, electrical shorts in the wiring or
ground out to any metal object.
-
Spark gap of the ignitor to the pilot should be .125" (3.2mm).
-
Reprogram receiver code.
-
Replace receiver.
-
Switch to "ON" position.
-
Ensure wiring is properly secured.
-
Reset program as follows: Hold reset button on the receiver
and wait for 2 beeps. Release after second beep. Press the
small fl ame button on the remote within 20 seconds, you will
hear an additional beep (this signals that the receiver has
been successfully reset).
-
Replace receiver.
-
Straighten pins.
-
Replace valve.
-
Verify that the incoming gas line ball valve is "Open".
-
Verify that the inlet pressure reading is within acceptable
limits, inlet pressures must not exceed 14" W.C. (34.9mb).
-
Fill the tank.
-
Repeat ignition process several times or purge the pilot
supply line.
-
Check valve and replace if necessary (Careful not to
overtighen the thermocouple).
-
Check ground connection on valve and tighten screw if loose.
-
Reset program as follows: Hold reset button on the receiver
and wait for 2 beeps. Release after second beep. Press the
small fl ame button on the remote within 20 seconds, you will
hear an additional beep (this signals that the receiver has
been successfully reset).
-
Replace receiver.
-
Ensure correct polarity of wiring.
-
Verify all connections. Verify the connections from the
pilot assembly are tight; also verify these connections are not
grounding out to any metal.
-
Verify the thermocouple is clean and the wiring between it
and the valve is undamaged.
-
Verify the interruptor block is not damaged or too tight.
-
Check breaker to verify it's in the "ON" position.
-
Check battery power and battery orientation.
