wrong emulsion
Chipped bearings
Worn out or damaged pads

REMEDY
The support and guide flange of the band
are so worn out that they cannot ensure
the alignment of the blade, causing faulty
cutting; blade rolling and drawing tracks
can have become tapered. Replace them.
Clean with compressed air.
Decrease advance, exerting less
cutting pressure. Adjust the braking
device.
Use a superior quality blade.
Replace it.
Blade used probably has too large teeth,
use one with more teeth (see "Material
classification and blade selection" in
the Blade Types section).
Approach it as near as possible to
material to be cut so that only the blade
section employed in the cut is free, this
will prevent deflections that would
excessively stress the blade.
Check level of liquid in the tank. Increase
the flow of lubricating coolant, checking
that the hole and the liquid outlet pipe are
not blocked. Check the emulsion
percentage.
Dirt and/or chips between blade and
guide bearings. Replace them.
