In the case of type VST guided type fall arresters with two attaching
elements (lugs); the large attaching element is to be used to attach to the full
body harness (see Fig.).
The full body harness to EN 361 is attached directly to the guided type fall arrester at

the large attaching element using the corresponding EN 362 connector for the guided
type fall arrester. After it has been attached the connector (spring hook) must be
locked with the knurled screw. The attachment point on the full body harness should
be at breastbone (sternum) level (front arresting attachment point).
Further extension of the lanyard with additional elements can impair the
braking function of the guided type fall arrester in case of a fall and is
therefore not allowed!
ATTENTION: The full body harness should be correctly adjusted and fit tightly! If it
fits loosely the full body harness should not be used!
