Should doubts arise regarding safe condition (e.g. severe corrosion, lightning strikes)

be inspected by a competent person. An indicator of the fall load on the system is, e.g.
deformation of the slotted spring pin at the anchor eyebolt of the guided type fall
arrester.

The manufacturer must be contacted in case of any uncertainty during installation or

use of the system!
A standard operating procedure with information on the location and use of the fall

arrest system be attached at the access to the safety system.

protection (equipotential bonding) according to the national lightning protection
regulations. Use as an air termination rod is not permitted!
Maximum allowable inclination from the vertical: 1°

All entry and exit points and interruptions in the rail are to be secured with end stops

(e.g. endpiece type 2). This also prevents incorrect insertion of the guided type fall
arrester!
