5 Assembly

WARNING
Severe crushing injuries while transporting components of the
filter unit!
Incorrect installation can cause components to fall over.
− Never stand under not properly installed components!
− Use appropriate climbing aids compliant with the standard and
ensure you are in a safe position.
Note
The operator of the filter unit may only appoint individuals who are familiar with this
task with its independent installation.
It should be noted that the welding current return line between part and welding
machine has a low resistance and connections between part and filter unit are
avoided so that, if need be, the welding current cannot flow back to the welding
machine via the protective lead for the filter unit.

5.1 Assembly and installation

The composite CleanAirTower comprises three individual components, that are delivered as
packing units on two pallets. The first pallet [A] contains the fan component (item 1),
including the collision guard (item 8). On this, the suction component (item 3) is fixed by
means of a clamping ring (item 4). On the second pallet [B] is the filter component (item 2)
with a second clamping ring (item 4).
