2 Fill the bowls with product to the maximum level mark. Do
not overfill.
The exact quantity of product (expressed as liters and gallons)
is shown by marks on the bowl.
3 In case of products to be diluted with water, potable water,
pour water into bowl first, then add correct quantity of product.
In case of natural squashes, it is advisable to strain them, in
order to prevent pulps from obstructing the faucet outlet.
4 To obtain the best performance and result, use bases
designed to be run in Granita freezers. Such bases have a
sugar content of 34 degrees Baumé corresponding to 64
degrees Brix.
For soft drinks the bases are to be diluted with more water, on a
1 plus 5/5.5 basis.
In any case follow the syrup manufacturer's instructions for
both Granita and soft drink recipes.
If natural juices (e.g. lemon, orange) as well as sugarless
products (e.g. coffee) are used, dissolve 150 - 200 grams of
sugar per liter.

Operate the dispenser with food products only.
IMPORTANT
However Granita mix may be done, its Brix (sugar
percent content) must be at least 13.
IMPORTANT
This appliance is not intended for use by person (inclu-
ding children) with reduced physical sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concer-
ning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
5 Install the covers and check that they are correctly placed
over the bowls. There must be a correct electrical connection
between the bowl and the cover.

5.2 DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS.

7 Always leave the dispenser on, as the refrigeration stops
automatically when Granita reaches the proper thickness. The
mixers will continue to turn.

5. 1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Each bowl of the dispenser is individually operated by a Slave
Control Keyboard to turn ON and OFF the mixers, to select the
refrigeration mode and to adjust both the temperature and the
viscosity of the product. In fact it is possible to dispense both soft
and frozen drinks.
In addition the Master Control Keyboard (in case of dispensers
with multiple bowls, the right bowl keyboard, facing the unit from
dispensing side) let the operator to turn ON and OFF the
dispenser, to adjust the level of the top cover lights, to lock all
the keyboards to avoid undesired or unintentional setting of the
dispenser and to enter into the Machine Setting Menu.
To turn the dispenser ON and OFF it is necessary to keep key
(B) pressed for one second. When the dispenser is turned ON
the installed software version is shown for about three seconds
on the display (A); then an approx one minute diagnostic test is
executed. During this time the refrigeration is OFF, only some

basic settings are available and on the display the message
WAIT PLEASE and a time bar are shown.
Expired the test time, if no malfunction is detected, the
dispenser is ready to be used and all of its functions are
available.
In working mode the current time and the status of the defrost
timer are shown on the display (A)
When the dispenser is turned OFF all the current settings are
stored into memory and they will be effective at the following
power ON.
5. 2 DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS
With reference to the following figures the dispenser controls are
as follows:

Power ON / OFF key (B)
Pressed for one second when the power is OFF: the power is
turned ON and all the functions are enabled. The fan motor runs.
Pressed for one second when the power is ON: all the current
settings are stored into memory and the power is turned OFF to
all functions except the backlight of the display.
Top cover light key (C)
Each time key (C) is pressed the top cover lights are changed
from one of the following status to the following one: lights OFF,
lights ON low intensity, lights ON full power, light OFF.
