Turning on:
The unit must be in the idle position when it
is turned on.
1. Press the activation lock (6) so that it moves to
the left/right and keep it held down.
2. Press the main switch (5) and keep it held down.
3. Release the activation lock (6).
4. Turn the unit in and move it into the grooving
position.

ATTENTION
An excessively high feed rate will reduce the performance of the unit, impair the cutting quality, and
shorten the cutter blade service life.
WARNING
The cutter blade will continue running for a brief period after you turn the unit off. When the rotating
cutter blade makes contact with the material, there is a risk of recoil.
5. Move the GROOVER 500-LP forward along the seam in a straight line and at a constant feed rate.
Guide the GROOVER 500-LP with both hands in the area of the handle (4). Make sure that your hands are not in
the milling area.
