6.4 Ejector tube
WARNING
RISK OF INJURY due to flying particles.
• The GROOVER 500-LP is only to be operated with the ejector tube (7) connected to the dust bag (3)
or with a vacuum cleaner adapter (25) plus connected vacuum cleaner.
• Wear eye protection.
• Never reach into the chip ejector.
The ejector tube (7) plus dust bag (3) must be remo-
ved from the GROOVER 500-LP before storing the unit
inside its case. To do this, release the union nut (23).
The ejector tube (7) can be attached at any angle.
When attaching it,
make sure that the union nut (23) has been tightened
correctly.
6.5 Changing the cutter blade
WARNING
Wearing personal protective equipment, such as protective gloves, reduces the risk of injuries.
ATTENTION
Only original Leister cutter blades are to be used (for a list of these blades, see Chapter 8 Accessories
[20]).
1. Remove the battery (1).
2. Loosen the three screws (22)
on the cover sheet (21) with the
size 5 hexagon key (16). Do not
unscrew the screws all the way
through the cover sheet.
Lift the cover sheet off the unit
together with the
loosened screws.
3. Press the spindle locking
button (11) to secure the cutter
blade.
4. Loosen the screw (26) in the
center
of the cutter blade with the size
5 hexagon key (16).
