5. Remove the cutter blade
(27).
6. Clean the hub on the unit, the
cutter blade (27) that is to be
inserted, and the fan wheels.
All clamping surfaces must be
free from dirt, grease,
oil, and water.
WARNING
• You must check the cutting edges, tool body, and clamping devices for damage and cracks
before installing them in the machine.
• Damaged tools must be inspected by a specialist.
• Tools with a cracked body must not be used under any circumstances. Attempting repairs on such
tools is not permitted.
7. The cutting direction of the
teeth (direction indicated by
arrow on cutter blade (27))
and the rotational direction
arrow on the cover sheet (21)
must match.
8. Insert and fit the cutter blade
(27) and the two different
fan wheels (28, 29) in the
order shown. The perforated
fan wheel (29) must always
be fitted on the outside. It is
also essential to refit the
spring washer (30). Never
use a spring washer (30) or
screw (26) that is damaged
or of the incorrect type. The cutter blade washers and screws have been specially designed for your
grooving machine to ensure optimum power and operational safety/reliability.
9. Tighten the screw (26) with the size 5 hexagon key (16).
10. It is essential to reinsert the cover plate (21) and tighten the three screws (22) with the
size 5 hexagon key (16). It is vital that you check the groove depth.
