4/7" vent clearance to combustibles
If necessary, 5/8" venting can be reduced to 4/7" venting (see "converting from 5/8" to 4/7" venting
section)
The minimum clearances around the horizontal vent pipe to the combustible material is 1" (25.4mm) in installations
with a minimum of 30" (76.2cm) vertical rise made immediately off the appliance collar and where the vent has
been reduced to a 4/7" from 5/8" at the appliance.
