Wired sensors
are connected to an
control. Assignment: Per control, max.
1 internal sensor and 3 external sensors.
The sensors (internal/external) can only be
plugged/taught in on the master RLS.
Radio-controlled sensors
A maximum of 8 sensors can be taught in on
a master. The user is free to select the assign-
ment. For possible sensor types  EEP table
in Chapter 7.2.

Automatic operation must be manually
activated and deactivated for each operating
mode. The function switches on when the
WRG or cross-ventilation operating mode key
is pressed for 2 seconds.
The function switches off when the relevant
operating mode key (WRG or cross-venti-
lation) is pressed again for 2 seconds. The
settings are retained when switching between
the two operating modes.
If a ventilation level is set manually on an
RLS 45 K DS 45 RC
or
operation, the ventilation units continue to run
for 30 minutes in this ventilation level. The
ventilation units then switch back to automatic
operation.

6.6 Deactivating ventilation level "0"

The Off function (ventilation level 0) can be
deactivated by the specialist installer.
This ensures a permanent basic level of
ventilation, to avoid damage from mould,
for example. For more information

6.7 Control unit's LED display

The LEDs are dimmed after 5 minutes
to save energy. To switch back to normal
operation, simply press a key.

6.8 Sleep mode

RLS 45 K DS 45 RC
Sleep mode with ventilation level 0
All ventilation units connected to a room
air control are switched off for 60 min-
utes (ventilation level 0). For operation
 Chapter 2.
Sleep mode can also be switched using
an optional on/off switch connected to
the control's 230 V input. The switch must
be configured for sleep mode when in
service mode, parameter 230 V AC input
 Installation instructions.
The "sleep mode" function is not
i
available for ventilation units
connected to the power units.
If any key on the control is pressed
during sleep mode, the ventilation units
switch back to the ventilation level used
previously.

6.9 Intermittent ventilation

Intermittent ventilation with ventilation
level 5
All ventilation units connected to a room
air control run for 30 minutes at venti-
lation level 5 (intensive ventilation). For
operation  Chapter 2.
Intermittent ventilation can also be
switched using an optional on/off switch
connected to the control's 230 V input.
The switch must be configured for inter-
mittent ventilation when in service mode,
parameter 230 V AC input  Installation
instructions.
