3 Commissioning options
The ventilation unit is set up and regulated
with the commissioning software. Alternative-
ly, it can be set up with the optional comfort
control unit or the web server integrated in the
unit control.
4 Commissioning ventilation unit
4.1 Commissioning pre-requirements
Commissioning is only permitted if:
● the building is ready for occupancy.
● all connection cables are correctly fitted and
secure.
● all supply air and exhaust air valves are
mounted and open.
● the ventilation ducts are insulated.
● all outgoing air and outside air covers are
mounted.
● all shutters are open.
● all protective materials (e.g. filters provided
by customer) are removed.
● the ventilation unit is correctly connected to
the power supply and the duct feedthroughs
are sealed.
● the DIP switches of installed, optional
additional circuit boards are set to suit the
application accessories instructions.
4.2 Accessing operating instructions
Go to www.maico-ventilatoren.com and
download the operating instructions from
the download area. The operating instructions
contain detailed information about operation,
changing filters and rectification of faults.

GB of free hard disk space (Windows® is a

4.4 Connecting PC system/notebook to
ventilation unit

1. Tilt front plate forwards at the two top corners
(magnets [M]) and remove from above
2. Remove protective cap [B] and connect
PC/notebook with ventilation unit via USB
port.
3. Switch on ventilation unit with main
switch [A].
