3 Commissioning options

The ventilation unit is set up and regulated
with the commissioning software. Alternative-
ly, it can be set up with the optional comfort
control unit or the web server integrated in the
unit control.

4 Commissioning ventilation unit

4.1 Commissioning pre-requirements

Commissioning is only permitted if:
● the building is ready for occupancy.
● all connection cables are correctly fitted and
secure.
● all supply air and exhaust air valves are
mounted and open.
● the ventilation ducts are insulated.
● all outgoing air and outside air covers are
mounted.
● all shutters are open.
● all protective materials (e.g. filters provided
by customer) are removed.
● the ventilation unit is correctly connected to
the power supply and the duct feedthroughs
are sealed.
● the DIP switches of installed, optional
additional circuit boards are set to suit the
application  accessories instructions.

4.2 Accessing operating instructions

Go to www.maico-ventilatoren.com and
download the operating instructions from
the download area. The operating instructions
contain detailed information about operation,
changing filters and rectification of faults.

4.3 Commissioning software

System requirements
● PC with Internet access (charges may apply).
Not permitted for other operating systems,
e.g. for Mac OS (Mac OS is a trademark of
Apple Inc., USA).
● Minimum PC requirements: Windows
Vista® SP2 incl. Microsoft .Net Framework
4.5®, processor with 1 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 3
GB of free hard disk space (Windows® is a
trademark of Microsoft Corporation, USA)
USB 2.0, LAN-100 MBit/sec.

your smartphone/tablet and
load the commissioning
and maintenance instruc-
tions onto your PC system/
notebook. Alternatively, go
to www.maico-ventilator-
en.com, visit the download
area and download the
software.
4.4 Connecting PC system/notebook to
ventilation unit

1. Tilt front plate forwards at the two top corners
(magnets [M]) and remove from above
2. Remove protective cap [B] and connect
PC/notebook with ventilation unit via USB
port.
3. Switch on ventilation unit with main
switch [A].
