6.9 Deactivating ventilation level "0"

The Off function (ventilation level 0) can be de-
activated by the specialist installer. This ensures
a permanent basic level of ventilation, to avoid
damage from mould, for example. For more
information  Commissioning instructions.

6.10 Control unit's LED display

The LEDs are dimmed after 5 minutes to save
energy. To switch back to normal operation,
simply press a key.
The LED display can be set using the com-
missioning software of the RLS 45 K control
(function cannot be set in service mode).

6.11 Sleep mode with ventilation level 0

For ventilation units on RLS 45 O:
Function not available.
For ventilation units on RLS 45 K, DS 45 RC:
Function available.
All ventilation units connected to a room air
control are switched off for 60 minutes (para-
meter can be adjusted). For details of opera-
tion  Chapter 2.
Sleep mode can also be switched on/off using
an optional button connected to the 230 V
input of the RLS 45 K control. The 230 VAC
input must be set to the sleep mode function
 Commissioning software.
Sleep mode is not available for ventila-
i
tion units connected to the power units.
If any key on the control is pressed during
sleep mode, the ventilation units switch back
to the ventilation level used previously.

6.12 Intermittent ventilation with ventila-
tion level 5
For ventilation units on RLS 45 O: Function
not available. For ventilation units on RLS 45
K, DS 45 RC: Function available.
All ventilation units connected to a room air con-
trol run for 30 minutes (parameter can be
adjusted) at ventilation level 5 (intensive ven-
tilation). For details of operation  Chapter 2.
Intermittent ventilation can also be activated
with an optional button connected to the 230
V input of the RLS 45 K control. The 230 VAC
input must be set to the intermittent ventilation
function  Commissioning software.
The intermittent ventilation is not

available for ventilation units
connected to the power units.
If any key on the control is pressed during
intermittent ventilation, the ventilation units
switch back to the ventilation level used
previously.

6.13 External OFF function

For ventilation units on RLS 45 O, DS 45 RC:
Function not available. For ventilation units
on RLS 45 K: Function available.
This function can be used to switch off all the
ventilation system's ventilation units.
The External OFF function is switched

using an optional, central on/off switch
connected to the control's 230 V input.
The switch must be registered for the
External OFF function when in service
mode, parameter 230 V AC input 
Commissioning instructions.
The External OFF function impacts on
i
all the components integrated in the
ventilation system.
With RLS 45 K+PP 45 EO combinations,
i
the External Off function is also carried
out by the PP 45 RC/PPB 30 RC units
integrated via the PP 45 EO.
