Safety instructions
The use of upright gas cylinders from which
gas is taken in the gas phase is mandatory
for the operation of gas pressure regulation
systems, gas equipment and gas systems.
Gas cylinders from which gas is taken in the
liquid phase (e.g. for fork lifts) must not be
used, since they would result in damage to the
gas system.
If the gas system is leaking or if there is a
smell of gas:
- Extinguish all naked flames
- Do not smoke
- Turn all equipment off
- Close the gas cylinder
- Open windows and doors
- Do not operate any electric switches
- Have the entire system inspected by an
expert!

Repairs may only be carried out by an

During operation, please note the regulation
in EN 60335-1:2010, which states that this de-
vice is not intended for use by persons (includ-
ing children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/
or knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or have
received instruction in how to use the device
from such a person.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
In order to prevent any hazards caused
by unintentional resetting of the over-
temperature sensor, the device must not be
supplied with power via an external switching
device such as a time switch, or connected to
a power circuit that is regularly switched on
and off by a device.
Guarantee claims, warranty claims and ac-
ceptance of liability will be ruled out in the
event of the following:
- Modifications to the device (including
accessories),
- Modifications to the exhaust duct and the
cowl,
- Failure to use original Truma parts as re-
placement parts and accessories,
- Failure to follow the installation and operat-
ing instructions.
The device's operating permit, and conse-
quently also the vehicle's operating permit in
some countries, are also rendered void.
The operating pressure of the gas supply
(30 mbar) must be the same as the operating
pressure of the device (see type plate).
Liquid gas systems must comply with the
technical and administrative regulations of the
respective country of use (e.g. EN 1949 for ve-
hicles). National regulations and rules must be
followed.
