7. Check List for Commissioning
What must be done:
a) Checking all Screw Connections and Wheel Nuts
b) Removing and replacing the car body
c) Checking Alignment and Tooth Backlash of Drive
d) Commissioning the RC system
e) Failsafe module (optional)
f) Checking the range of the remote control transmitter
g) Servo Function Check
h) Checking the Basic Carburettor Setting
i) Starting the Engine
j) Break-in Instructions for the Engine
Attention! Position indications (front/rear/right/left) always refer to the longitudinal vehicle axis in driving direction (seen forward)!
a) Checking All Screw Connections and Wheel Nuts
Check before each use:
• All wheel nuts and screw connections must be tight.
• The servo control lever must fit tight on the servo shaft.
• Install the air filter.
• Check the tightness of hose connections and tank lid before each use.
• The cables must be installed properly.
Engine vibrations and shocks during drive operation can loosen parts and screw connections.
b) Removing and Replacing the Car Body
To remove the car body, remove the body splints and body protective plates.
Now remove the car body
To replace the car body, insert the body holder into the holes drilled into the car body. Now attach the car body again to the body protective plates and the body
splints.
