6. Scope of Delivery and Accessories

a) Scope of Delivery
• Chassis P-240MT with built-in FORCE 2-stroke glow-ignition engine with cable pull-starter and exhaust pipe with manifold
• Printed car body:
• Installed steering servo, throttle/brake servo and receiver
• Three-channel radio remote control (pistol transmitter)
• Oiled air filter
• Aerial tube for receiver aerial
• Telescope aerial for transmitter
• Small parts
• Operating instructions for the vehicle
• Operating instructions for remote control system
b) Required accessories (not part of the delivery)
• 8 rechargeable or normal batteries (mignon type AA) for the transmitter
• 6 V hump battery pack for the receiver, alternatively 4 rechargeable batteries or batteries (mignon type AA)
• Glow plug
• Glow plug wrench
• Glow plug starter with glow battery and charger
• Tank bottle
• Model fuel methanol/oil based
• Charger for rechargeable batteries

d) Recommended accessories, General Information
Which type of fuel is the right one?
With the selection of the fuel, you can influence the performance characteristic of the engine.
However, as a matter of principle:
• In the running-in phase, a special RC car fuel with approximately 16% nitro methane should be used.
• After the regulatory run-in of the engine (after a mere operating time of approximately 45 minutes), you can switch to a fuel with approx. 20% nitro methane.
• For maximum performance, we recommend the max. percentage of 25% nitro methane
Use fuel for RC cars only! Fuel for RC flight motors contain an insufficient amount of oil (too little lubrication), which causes the engine to overheat
and results in serious damage. The same applies for vehicle gasoline.
Loss of guarantee/warranty!
Why is a tank bottle needed?
RC model car fuel is available in big bulks (canisters) only. Filling the tank is made much easier by using the small, special tank bottle with a thin, bent pipe. You
avoid spilling (expensive and toxic) fuel.
Spilled fuel not only damages the environment but also poses a fire and explosion risk!
Are more glow plugs necessary?
Glow plugs wear, especially in the running-in phase. Thus, we recommend that you always keep in store some glow plugs for replacement. There are glow plugs
with different thermal values; proper selection of the glow plug has a great influence on the driving performance. For the run-in phase, you should use 'cold' glow
plugs for high-performance engines. After the run-in phase, you can change to a glow plug with medium thermal value.
Use glow plugs for RC cars only! A wrong glow plug, e.g. for 4-stroke model plane engines lets the motor run improperly and makes tuning more
difficult.
