Checks
Open the cabinet access panel and check all pump fittings to
make sure they are tight. Loosening can occur during shipping
and handling.
Turning on power
Turn on power to spa at the home's circuit breaker: the heater
and circulation pump automatically activate. The water tempe-
rature LED flash on the control panel and the messages "COL" or
"ICE" appear.
Note: "COL" and "ICE" will only appear when the spa is in Eco-
nomy mode.
Start-up
Activating the pump(s)
Addition of chemical additives at first start-up
Please refer to the Jacuzzi system water treatment guide and
relative catalogue for details on water quality maintenance, the
methods and warnings governing the use of relative chemical
products.
N.B.: Always cover the spa (except when mixing chemical addi-
tives!) with the insulating cover, so as to reduce heating times and
thus minimize operating costs.
The time required for initial heat-up will vary depending on the star-
ting water temperature.
WARNING!
Do not get in the spa until the quantity of disinfectant has not drop-
ped below the level recommended by the manufacturer and/or by
your retailer.
Always check water temperature carefully before entering spa.

Operating instructions

The spa control system has automatic functions that operate upon
start-up and normal operation to protect the system.
Upon power up, the display shows the following information:
1. Control panel displays all lit indicators, permitting visual in-
spection of all display segments and indicator lights for proper
operation.
2. Control panel displays the controller and control panel
software versions.
3. Control panel scrolls the message, "WELCOME TO JACUZZI."
4. Control panel scrolls the message, "PLEASE REGISTER YOUR
SPA AT WWW_JACUZZI_COM."
Note: It is common for the heater to turn on after the spa is first
filled because tap water is often very cold. If water temperature,
at this time, is less than the factory default temperature setting
of 38°C (100°F) the heater will turn on and run until the water
temperature rises to the factory setting, then turn off.
Register Your New Spa
To register you will need to have the spa serial number, then you
will need to register online. If this option is skipped, you will be
able to activate components, but, after 10 minutes, the screen
will revert back to the registration message. This process will
continue until the spa is registered and the passcode is entered.
Note: The spa will still protect itself if an error is detected.
