Calibration of axes

Following the set-up and connection to the PC, the

desktop scanner must be calibrated using the sup-
plied calibration model.
The scanner should be recalibrated at reg-
ular intervals.
The device must be calibrated each time
after transporting.
▷ Place calibration model on the scan base plate.

▷ Create a new patient case in the data base and
start the scanner software from the data base.
▷ Cancel the subsequent command prompt for
the 2D scan.
▷ Click on
Scanner Options > Axis calibration
start the axis calibration.

In the subsequent window, the values #1 and #2
must correspond with those of the calibration
model. If the values do not correspond, see
Section 5.7.1.
▷ Start the axis calibration.
