MODE/RESET
• Press to select functions.
• Press and hold for 2 seconds to reset time, distance, calories and count
• After installing batteries, the clock setting mode will start automatically. Press "MODE" key to set
the clock. Afterwards, wait for at least 5 seconds to exit the setting mode.
FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS
1. SCAN: Press MODE button until "SCAN" appears. The monitor will scan through the following
functions in sequence: time, speed, distance, calorie, count, rpm and pulse.
Each value will be displayed for approx. 5 seconds until the next value is displayed.
2. TIME: Counts the total time from beginning of exercise to the end.
3. SPEED: Displays current speed.
4. DISTANCE: Counts the distance from beginning of exercise to the end.
5. CALORIE: Counts the total calories from beginning of exercise to the end.
6. COUNT: Counts the number of strokes from beginning of exercise to the end.
7. RPM (Revolutions per minute): Automatically accumulates the rowing strokes per minute.
8. PULSE: The computer can display your pulse rate in beats per minute when paired with the inclu-
ded chest strap (please see page 30 for detailed instructions). If no pulse signal input is received
then the computer will display "NO pulse" on the display.
NOTES
1. If the display gets poor or nothing is displayed, please replace the batteries.
2. The monitor will automatically switch to clock mode if there is no signal received for minutes.
3. The monitor will be auto-powered on when you start to exercise or push a button.
4. The monitor will automatically start calculating when you start to exercise and will stop calculating
when you stop exercising for 4 seconds.
