ATTENTION
Risk of cutting and blows during cleaning, adjusting and
maintenance of the machine.
The moving parts (anchors, spiked rollers, soil-breaking
discs) represent a potential injury risk for the operator. Use
appropriate PPEs.
ATTENTION
Risk when transporting the equipment by road.
The transporting of the equipment by road at night or in
conditions of poor visibility without the appropriate lighting
devices is strictly prohibited as it could lead to accidents.
ATTENTION
The risk that lateral rollers may fall during the road transpor-
tation. If these rollers are not raised and fixed, as indicated
in paragraph 3.5.6 of the manual, they may fall during road
transportation, causing a possible break of the equipment or
causing the injuring of a third-party person.
ATTENTION
Risk of crushing the operator or third parties present in
the area around the equipment during transportation and
handling.
The operator must ensure that there are no third parties present
in the area around the equipment during these phases.
ATTENTION
Loss of pressure in the hydraulic circuit during operation.
The operator must run the necessary checks and perform
the periodical maintenance indicated in this manual, in order
to ensure that all parts of the equipment are kept in perfect
working condition.
ATTENTION
Risk of crushing the operator during the phase in whitch the
equipment is attached to the tractor vehicle and during the
adjustment phase.
Hitching operations must be carried out by one operator only,
following the instructions provided in this document.
Adjustments must not be made with the equipment or side
frames raised from the ground.
All adjustments must be carried out by one operator only,
following the instructions provided in this document.
ATTENTION
Risk of blows against sharp components.
The machine must be parked in such a way as to guarantee the
safety distance indicated in this manual and on the pictogram
attached to the machine itself.
ATTENTION
Risk of crushing limbs between moving parts.
The dangerous points of the machine have been highlighted
by pictograms that are shown in this manual and attached to
the equipment itself.

USE AND MAINTENANCE
Risk of injury against spiked rollers or sharp soil-breaking
discs.
When the spiked discs (soil refiners) or sharp soil-breaking
discs are fitted on the machine, it must be equipped with a
protective bar.
Even although this bar protects the operator for falling directly
onto the spikes or onto other sharp parts, the risk of injury
still remains.
Risk of the operator falling or slipping.
Do not, under any circumstances, climb onto or hold onto
the rear rollers or any of the idle parts when they are raised
from the ground.
4.4 AIRBORNE NOISE
We take this opportunity to remind you that it is the responsibility of
the employer to have a risk assessment made on the basis of the
legislation in force in the country in which the equipment is to be
used; in the European Union the reference Directive is the 89/391/
EEC and subsequent revisions and additions.
In particular, it is essential to assess the following specific risks:
- exposure to vibrations (in the European Union, the reference
directive is the 2002/44/EC);
- manual handling of loads 90/269/EEC;
- chemical risk 98/24/EC.
Pinocchio
Noise measurements are not required as, under the test conditions
specified in the EN 1553 standard (Attachment D 5.2), the machine
in question does not have any moving parts and does not therefore
generate a source of noise.
Attila e Artiglio
The only source of noise is that of the side frames while they are
being moved by the hydraulic actuators.
Measurements were taken of the noise pressure and noise level
generated by machine as per attachment D of the EN 1553 stan-
dard.
The A - weighted mean temporal sound pressure emission level
was found to be less than 70 dB.
