3.3 Handling
3.3.1 Before taking into operation
Plug in, turn the main switch, and perform the following tests:
Perfect function of the operating elements
Acid level and charging state of the battery
State of the travelling rollers, firm seat of the wheel screws and roller axles
Function of the safety button
Load chains for adjustment, chain tension and wear
3.3.2 Manoeuvring and Steering via Tie Bar
The tie bar is connected with the steering rollers through a double sided rod assembly. Consequently,
steering of the wheels is effected when turning the tie bar.
The wheelbase does not change during steering.
3.3.3 Parking brake
One of the steering wheels is equipped with a parking brake.
The working force of the brake is adjustable.

Insert the key into the key switch and turn it clockwise onto ON position.
Current circuit is closed – operating position.
Pressing the lever in the direction of control handle the forks are raised.
To lower the forks press the lever in fork direction.
Changing the position of the lowering lever, enables to adjust the lowering
speed sensitively.
Once the lever is released, it automatically switches in center position so
that the lifting or lowering operation stops immediately

The truck is fitted with an automatic device which stops the
lifting operation if the batteries have reached a discharge level
of over 80% . LED 1 is on.
Charge the battery.
