Cautions
Do not plug with wet hands.
Do not plug into a socket where several other appliances are plugged in.
Do not use if the plug cord is damaged or when the power plug does not fit the
socket securely.
Do not modify the parts, or repair the unit by yourself.
Do not use the unit near a flame or wet places.
Do not use where children can easily touch the unit, nor let children use the unit by
themselves.
Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged. Always check before using the app-
liance! Keep children away from the device. Danger of burn! Persons with reduced
experience or insufficient knowledge should not use the appliance, exept a person
in charge of their safty take care or supervice, how the appliance is used.
Do not place on unstable surfaces.
Do not carry the unit when the pot or the pan is on it.
Do not heat the pot empty or overheat it.
Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum
foils on the top plate.
Use the unit with sufficient space around it. Keep the front side and either right or
left side of the unit clear.
Never use the unit on carpet or tablecloth (viny1) or any other low-heat-resistant
article.
Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot or the pan and the unit. The paper
may get burnt.
If the surface is cracked, switch off and take to the service center immediately.
Do not block air intake or exhaust vent.
Do not touch the top plate shortly after removing the pot or the pan, as the top
plate will still be very hot.
Do not place near objects which are affected by magnet, such as: radios, televisions,
automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes.
The supply cord must by replaced by qualified technicians.
The appliance is not suitable to be used with an extenal timer or a separate remote
control.
Attention! Housing and glass get hot, Risk of burns! Don´t place the device
on a sensitive surface (c.g. painted furniture) and keep distance of at least 70
cm to burnable materials (c.g. curtains).

Usuage
The usuage of both plates is identical. Place a suitable pot/pan (min. diameter 12cm)
in the middle of the intended cooking zone. Plug in the appliance. The pilot light at
the "On/Off"
button is on.
Attention: Do not place any hot pots or pans on the touch control area.
Stand-By-Mode
Press the On/Off button XXX. A buzzer is sounding. If there is no program chosen
within one minute, then the appliance returns to the stand-by mode.
If the appliance is build in, then it must be taken care, that the ventilation openings
are not covered and sufficient air can get to the housing, as it else can overheat.
Power
Press the button
for the back plate or the button
can be seen in the display.
By pressing the
button the Wattage can be changed in steps.
Back plate:
1 = 500W, 2 = 800W, 3 = 1.000W, 4 = 1.100W,
5 = 1.300W, 6 = 1.500W, 7 = 1.600W, 8 = 1.800W
Front plate:
1 = 400W, 2 = 500W, 3 = 800W, 4 = 900W,
5 = 1.000W, 6 = 1.100W, 7 = 1.200W, 8 = 1.300W
The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection. When the pots/pans
get too hot, then the appliance will switch off, a buzzer sounds and on the display
appears E05.
In that case, the "On/Off"
button should be pressed and the appliance should cool
down some minutes. After that the appliance is working without problem again.
