Removing the rechargeable
battery (Figure 2)
Press the battery unlock button (8)
and pull the battery pack (7) out
battery holder (9).
Inserting the battery pack
(Figure 2)
Slide the rechargeable battery (7) as
far as it will go into the battery
holder (9) and allow it to click into
place.
Charging the battery pack

CAUTION! The rechargeable
battery is not completely
charged when it leaves the
factory. Charge the battery pack
before using for the first time.
CAUTION! Only use the
supplied charger to charge
the rechargeable battery (12).
CAUTION! Check the
voltage specifications of the
charger (12) with the voltage of
your mains power supply before
plugging the charger in.

1. Plug the charger (12) into the
socket. The charging status check
light (13) on the charger (12) lights
up in green and signals when
ready to operate.
2. Slide the rechargeable battery
through the charging cradle (14)
over the contacts of the
charger (12) until it clicks audibly
into place. During the charging
process, the charging status
check light (13) on the charger
turns to red.
3. The charging process should take
about 60 minutes. It is finished as
soon as the red LED goes out and
the green LED lights up.
4. Press the unlocking button (8) on
the rechargeable battery and
remove the rechargeable battery
from the charger.
CAUTION! The rechargeable
battery is to be removed from
the charger after the charging time
is complete. A constant warming of
the charger and the battery is
normal and is not a fault.
Battery pack charge monitoring

To monitor the charge state, the
battery capacity status display (5)
lights up during operation.
