Any usage outside of applications defined by Somfy constitutes non-compliance,
and is therefore not covered by the guarantee. In this event, as for all usage not
consistent with the instructions given herein, Somfy accepts no responsibility for
harm or damage.

2.2 General safety advice

The safety instructions that must be observed, besi-
des the usual rules, are explained in these instruc-
tions and in the attached "Safety Instructions"
document.
2.2.1 ilmo WT module
1) Never immerse the ilmo WT module in liquid.
2) Never pierce the ilmo WT module.
2.2.2 S tubular module
1) Never submerge the S tubular module in liquid.
2) Avoid impacts.
3) Do not drop it.
4) Never pierce the S tubular module.
5) Never use the S tubular module without the ilmo
WT module. These two components are inse-
parable and cannot operate independently from
each other.

2.3 Specific safety advice

2.3.1 Roller shutter
Check the strength of the roller shutter and its
-
fittings.
The roller shutter must be fitted with:
• end stops screwed into the last slat, fixed (A) or
removable (B) stops incorporated in the runners
or an end slat acting as an end stop,
• bolts or rigid links (C).
Check that the motor used is suitable for the size
-
of roller shutter, to avoid the risk of damaging
the roller shutter and/or the Somfy product.
Caution: For information about the compatibility of
the motor with the roller shutter and accessories,
contact the roller shutter manufacturer or Somfy.
