PRELIMINARY CHECKS

Remember that the drive is designed to make the gate/door easier to use and will not solve
problems caused by defective or poorly performed installation or lack of maintenance�
Check that:
- leaf movement is even and there is no friction concentrated in any part of its travel;
- the existing structure has the necessary durability and stability requirements, specifically screws,
bolts and rods that must be suitably secured;
- the leaf surface is free of protrusions and sharp edges, without signs of abnormal wear, rust, breaks
or cracks in frame elements;
-the sliding rail distance is minimal and the edges are not sharp;
-there are mechanical stops when opening;
- the stated temperature range is compatible with the site in which the automated system is due to
be installed;
-the leaf is fitted with appropriate fall-prevention systems and cannot get out of the sliding rails in
any way;
-the leaf is in good condition, well-balanced and opens and closes correctly;
-the lower part of the door must be fitted with a deformable profile in order to avoid a rigid contact
and increase the contact surface.
-the door does not protrude over the pavement or on a surface accessed by the public.
If the frame and door do not meet the stated specifications, do not install the drive: have the frame
adjusted as necessary by qualified personnel.

Important:

- Eliminate the door lock or any other manual lock device.
- Remove any ropes or chains and take the parts not necessary to the drive's operation out of service.
- This product cannot be installed on leaves with in-built doors and in rooms unprotected from
humidity.
- Do not throw water at the device: do not install the product in places where the device is not
protected from water.
- Make sure there are safety gaps < 8 mm or apply rubber protections.
- If the door opens onto a public area, a pair of photocells MUST be installed and tested (we advise
you to fit them ANYWAY). The recommended height from the ground is 200mm.
