STOPS
The gate can be stopped by stops secured to the floor so that travel is defined from opening to closing

PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Remember that the drive is designed to make the gate/door easier to use and will not solve problems caused by defective or poorly performed
installation or lack of maintenance
Check that:
- the gate's running track is horizontal and that the hinges are strong enough to take the weight of the gate: once released, the leaf should be
perfectly still and should not open or close;
- there is a slideway at the top of the leaf to avoid vertical or lateral oscillations during manoeuvres;
- leaf movement is even and there is no friction concentrated in any part of its travel;
- the existing structure has the necessary durability and stability requirements, specifically screws, bolts and rods that must be suitably secured;
- the leaf surface is free of protrusions and sharp edges, without signs of abnormal wear, rust, breaks or cracks in the frame elements;
- there are mechanical stops secured to the ground in opening and closing;
- the stated temperature range is compatible with the site in which the automated system is due to be installed;
- any thresholds in the passageway and greater than 5mm are visible, highlighted or well-formed
If the frame and gate do not meet the stated specifications, do not install the drive: have the frame adjusted as necessary by qualified personnel
Important:
- Eliminate the gate lock or any other manual lock device
- This product cannot be installed on leaves that incorporate doors
- The pair of photocells supplied in the kit must be installed and tested at the end of installation
- Make sure there are safety gaps < 8 mm in the upper guides or apply rubber protections
SAFETY DURING INSTALLATION
During installation, please:
- use appropriate tools as specified by these instructions
- use personal protection equipment (protective goggles, gloves) suitable to the work you are carrying out
- display work in progress signs and do not leave the site unattended
- do not connect to the mains until assembly is completed
- once the equipment is connected to the mains, only touch buttons and adjustment devices necessary to program the unit
- work and repairs not specified in these instructions are not authorised
