MAINTENANCE
Stubborn stains on stainless steel (hob surfaces)
In particular, boiled red cabbage, red beets, soy sauce, apple sauce,
rhubarb and other highly sugary foods and acidic liquids can cause
some discoloration to the surface. If you want to remove stubborn
stains on stainless steel it is best to use a stainless steel cleaning
product. Always brush along the grain of the steel to avoid shiny spots
(damage caused in this way is not covered by the warranty!).
When the spots cannot be removed using the method described above,
you can clean the hob using a special stainless steel cleaner. However,
please note that you need to treat the entire hob surface to avoid any
"differences in colour".
You also need to finish the hob surface with a brightener or care
product for stainless steel. It is also normal for the surface to become
slightly discoloured during its service life.
Cleaning removable burner parts
Burner parts should not be cleaned in the dishwasher. The parts may
be damaged by the dishwasher detergent! The removable burner parts
(including wok parts) are best cleaned with a mild cleaning product
and a soft cloth. In the case of obstinate stains you can remove burn-
on bits and soak the parts in hot suds. Never use scouring powder,
scouring pads, sharp objects or aggressive cleaning agents.
