Hints for the shown results:
Almost not one measurement of body fat will show the same results like before. Please keep in mind that
(similar to blood pressure measurement) the smallest movements or surrounding influences or also your
daily constitution will have a strong influence upon the results. So, it is normal if you have different results
for one person within several measurements. Therefore the shown results are always only indications to
give you hints for your body constitution and will help you to find the most effective way of training your
body. The displayed values should only be regarded as evidence of your physical condition in order to sup-
port you finding your individual best way of exercise.
P17 to P20 - Target heart rate training
These modes require the input of a target heart rate. The device will then try to control the resistance level
automatically according to the desired heart rate level. The programme 17 allows the direct input of a tar-
get heart rate - the programmes 18 to 21 will calculate the maximum pulse frequency by the input of your
age and a percentage. The formula is: x% (60% [P18], 75% [P19] or 85% [P20]) x (220 – your age).
After starting the programme, the resistance level will be controlled automatically constantly during exer-
cise. You may also input target values for the function values time, distance and calories.
P21 to P24 - User defined programmes (U1 to U4)
In this mode you can exercise according to your own programmed profiles. After selecting a corresponding
mode, you can preset each segment load in the profile (totally 10 segments) with the "UP" and "DOWN"
buttons ("ENTER" for confirmation). The profile will be stored with the corresponding user-ID (U1....U4)
and may be recalled later for another workout. After you have finished your input, press "ST/SP" to begin
exercise. You may also input target values for different function values.
