Setting the duration

Interrupting evacuation
To quickly interrupt the evacuation, e.g. in case of boiling delay or frothing:
Press Hold (Fig. 6-1 (1)) button.
The vacuum valve closes or the vacuum pump stops (ROTAVAC vario
control). The LED next to Vac Start Stop (Fig. 6-1 (13)) button flashes.
Press Hold (Fig. 6-1 (1)) button.
The LED next to Vac Start Stop (Fig. 6-1 (13)) button once again flashes.
Applying the current value as the setpoint
(p const mode only)
To apply the current value as the setpoint during evacuation:
Press Accept (Fig. 6-1 (2)) button.
The current value is used as the setpoint for p const mode.
Duration
The duration function records the time from switching on to switching off the
rotation.
1. Press Select (Fig. 6-1 (15)) until Set Time LED is lit.
2. Use the arrow buttons (Fig. 6-1 (9)) to set the display (Fig. 6-1 (14)) to
zero.
Recording of the duration starts when rotation is started by pressing the
Rot Start Stop (Fig. 6-1 (7)) or Auto Start Stop (Fig. 6-1 (3)) buttons.
Recording of the duration ends when rotation is stopped by pressing the
Rot Start Stop (Fig. 6-1 (7)) or Auto Start Stop (Fig. 6-1 (3)) buttons.
The recorded time can be displayed by selecting Set Time within 30 seconds
after the rotation stops.
To display the duration during distillation:
1. Press Select (Fig. 6-1 (15)) until Set Time LED is lit.
The duration of distillation appears in the display (Fig. 6-1 (14)) for five
seconds.
