MAINTANANCE
Cleaning the grease filter
1. Remove the inlet grid.
2. Pull both grease filters out of the extraction inlet.
These must be cleaned once a month (or when the filter saturation indication system indicates
this necessity) using non-aggressive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher, which
must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The openings must be placed downwards
to let the water run out of the filters. The cleaning agents will make the aluminium filter turn dull,
this is normal.
Carbon filter (filtration use) indicator
The key (14) will light up after 120 (downdraft) operating hours.
1. Remove the inlet grid.
2. Pull both grease filters out of the extraction inlet.
3. Remove the carbon filter carefully, to avoid damaging the cover.
The regenerable active carbon filter can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher at a maximum
temperature of 65 °C. The washing cycle must be done without other dishes and without
dishwasher detergent. Do not use any cleaning agents!
Remove excess water. Be careful to avoid damaging the filter. Place the filter in the oven to dry
for at least 1 hour at a maximum temperature of 100°C. Depending on the intensity of use, after
up to 3 years (or if it is damaged), the filter will need to be replaced.
It is important that the grease filters and the regenerable active carbon filter are properly
dried before installation.
Attention! The carbon filter indication will also light up if the downdraft is not in use as
a recirculation extraction. Then clean the grease filter.
