Backrest
To adjust the back angle, please undo the Allen screw (1) and
remove it. Set the desired position and then refit the Allen screw
in this position and tighten it to the given torque (Fig. 6.27).
Folding backrest
To make it easier to transport the wheelchair, the top half of the
backrest can be folded down.
To do this, press both levers (1) and fold the backrest down.
When folding the backrest back up, please make sure that both
sides are firmly interlocked (Fig. 6.27/6.28).
WARNING!
•
Risk of injury: do not get your fingers caught in the folding
back mechanism.
CAUTION!
Please take into account the altered centre of gravity
when setting the angle of the backrest, tension of the backrest
belts or backrest height. This may lead to an unstable
wheelchair likely to tip and may rquire the use of anti-tip tubes.

Angle-adjustable fixed back, (Fig. 6.29)
The angle-adjustable backrest can be set to several positions
(12° forwards maximum, then backwards in 4° steps).
By loosening and removing the screw (1) the angle can be
adjusted in stages of 4°.
For your own safety, adjustment work should always be carried
out by your dealer.
Adjustable back-sling
The adjustable back-sling can be adjusted for tension by using
several straps. (Fig. 6.30).
WARNING!
Ensure that each strap is firmly secured before using the
wheelchair.
