Press the F button while screening a call to take the call.
Activate call screening on the base station
Open the main menu and check that BS SCREENING" is set to ON";
. Menu Structure, Page 151.
The current setting is indicated by a star icon.
If you want to ensure that incoming calls cannot be screened
on the base station, e.g. because certain messages should
not be available to third parties, set BS SCREENING" to
OFF".
Call screening on the base station
When you have defined the corresponding setting, namely . Acti-
vate call screening on the base station", you can listen to the mess-
age from a caller as it is being recorded via the loudspeaker in the
base station.

Taking a call being recorded
It is possible to take a call even if the answering machine has already
begun to take it. Recording of the message is stopped in this case.

Recording a memo
A memo is a message which you leave on the answering machine for
other users and is played back in the same way as a message left by
other callers.
Memos can also be recorded when the answering machine
is switched off.

The memo recorded is played back. PLAYING" appears in the dis-
play.
The memo must be at least 3 seconds long and spoken suffi-
ciently loud. A memo has only been recorded when it is
played back!

Select the answering machine and
confirm it
Select the submenu and
confirm it
Record the memo
Save the memo
Stop the recording and return to
the submenu
