7.11 CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT OF
TRAVEL DRIVE BELT
The belt 1 is tensioned correctly if it sags approx. by 1.5 cm when
the force of 4 kg is applied in the middle distance between pulleys.
The adjusting of the belt tension is to be carried out by turning the
nut 3 after loosening the nut 2 on the screw tightening the tension
spring. After fi nishing the adjustment, retighten the nut 2.
7.12 CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT OF
MOWING MECHANISM DRIVE V-BELTS
V-belt A:
The V-belt is tensioned correctly if it sags approx. by 1.5 cm
when the force of 4 kg is applied in the middle distance between
pulleys. The adjusting of the belt tension is to be carried out by
shifting the pulley 2 after loosening the nut 1. After fi nishing the
adjustment, retighten the nut 1.
V-belt B:
The V-belt of the mowing mechanism drive is tensioned by means
of a pulley with a spring. If the tension releases due to the working
stress of the belt, displace the suspension eye of the spring 3 into
the second hole in the arm 4 of the tensioning pulley.
7.13 MOWING MECHANISM
WITHDRAWAL FROM MACHINE
•
Lower the mowing mechanism to the working position by
depressing the switch 6.1.6. Release the switch immediately
when the end position is reached.
•
Release the V-belt by pulling the tensioning pulley arm 4
(fi g. 7.12) and remove the belt.
•
Take out the spring 3 (fi g. 7.12) from the arm of the tightening
pulley.
•
Drag out the resilient cotter pins from the front pins 2 and
both rear pins 1 of the mowing mechanism suspension.
•
Dismantle the pin 3 and the screw of the mowing mechanism
lifting.
•
Shift out both rear pins 1 of the mowing mechanism
suspension by means of a pliers.
At the shifting out be careful in order not to injure Your
hands or fi ngers.
•
Shift out the front pins 2 of the suspension.
•
Slowly withdraw the mowing mechanism from the machine.
7.14 ADJUSTMENT OF KNIVES
DRIVE INDENTED BELT
•
Lower the mowing mechanism to the working position by
depressing the switch 6.1.6. Release the switch immediately
when the end position is reached.
•
Dismantle the protective cover of the indented belt.
•
Loosen the nut 1 and tension the belt by shifting the tensioning
pulley.
•
Check the tension. The belt is tensioned correctly, if it sags
approx. by 0.5 cm when the force of 4 kg is applied in the
middle distance between pulleys.
•
Retighten the nut 1 and attach the protective cover.
