7.9 Hood liner

Before creating the counter-hood it is
necessary to make the electrical con-
nections, where required.
For constructing of the hood liner it is recom-
mended to use flame-retardant plasterboard .
Before creating the hood liner, the control unit
must be installed.
During creation of the hood it is essential to pro-
tect the door sliding frame with nylon to prevent
dust, mortar or other foreign bodies damaging
the sliding system. Remove this protection when
the work is completed.
Provide adequate side openings on the cladding
for component inspection.
Before carrying out the final assembly it will be
advisable to carry out a smoke test, i.e. to test the
operation of the appliance.

7.10 Electrical connection

Only for models V12 - V12 EPLUS
Connect the appliance to the electrical system
using the supplied plug (Fig. 25).
The electrical connection (plug) must be easily
accessible after appliance installation as well.
Palazzetti does not provide the power
cord; the installer must provide this.
If the power supply cable is damaged
it must be replaced by the technical
assistance service or a qualified techni-
cian in order to prevent any risk.
The system must be equipped with
earthing and with a differential switch
in compliance with the laws in force.
The flue gas evacuation duct must
be equipped with its own earth
connection.
