––– PHASE 6 –––
6.1 - FIRST COMMISSIONING AND ELECTRICAL
CONNECTIONS CHECKS
When the electrical connections are complete, before continuing, you
must immediately check that the connections have been carried out
correctly, and therefore that the installation works. To do this, with the
roller shutter fully lowered, carry out the following operations.
01. Switch on the automation system.
02. Press the buttons and check if the shutter makes the Upward
movement.
CAUTION! - If the shutter does not move, carry out the following
operations:
01. Isolate the power supply.
02. On the switch, invert the connection between the Brown and Black
conductors.
03. Restore the power supply.
04. Check the Upward manoeuvre again using the buttons.
05. Finally, complete installation of the control switch (fig. 17E-F).
TABLE B - Limit switch settings
Name of the limit switches:
• HIGH "0" limit switch: located at the end of the shutter's upward
movement.
• LOW "1" limit switch: located at the end of the shutter's downward
movement.
01
Press and hold the t button; wait for the shutter to close fully then release the button.
02
Stand in front of the shutter and answer the following questions:
1) is the end of the roller where the motor head protrudes located to your RIGHT or to your LEFT?
2) is the roller positioned in FRONT of the shutter or BEHIND the shutter?
03
Observe the figures below and identify the configuration corresponding to your previous replies (A, B, C or D) and take note of which screw
must be used – in the subsequent steps of the procedure – to adjust a specific limit switch.
Configuration A
• motor to the LEFT.
• roller BEHIND the shutter.

"1" limit switch
To set the "0" limit switch:
04
Press and hold the s button, observe the upward movement and ...
• if the shutter moves beyond the level in which the "0" limit switch must be set, stop the movement immediately by releasing the s
button and bring the shutter to its initial position, while keeping the t button pressed. Next, turn a few times (in the direction of the "–" sign)
the adjustment screw linked to the "0" limit switch. Lastly, repeat Point 04 several times (if necessary) until reaching the desired level for the
"0" limit switch.
• if the shutter stops before the level in which the "0" limit switch must be set, release the s button and turn the adjustment screw
linked to the "0" limit switch little by little (in the direction of the "+" sign) until reaching the desired level for the "0" limit switch. Note – at
every turn of the screw the motor advances and stops in a new position.
To set the "1" limit switch:
05
With the shutter fixed on the "0" limit switch, identify the adjustment screw linked to the "1" limit switch and turn it a few times in the direction
of the "–" sign.
Next, press and hold the t button, observe the downward movement and ...
• if the shutter moves beyond the level in which the "1" limit switch must be set, stop the movement immediately by releasing the t
button and bring the shutter to its initial position, while keeping the s button pressed. Next, turn a few times (in the direction of the "–" sign)
the adjustment screw linked to the "1" limit switch. Lastly, repeat Point 05 several times (if necessary) until reaching the desired level for the
"1" limit switch.
• if the shutter stops before the level in which the "1" limit switch must be set, release the t button and turn the adjustment screw
linked to the "1" limit switch little by little (in the direction of the "+" sign) until reaching the desired level for the "1" limit switch. Note – at
every turn of the screw the motor advances and stops in a new position.

PROGRAMMING LIMIT SWITCHES
7.1 - PROGRAMMING LIMIT SWITCHES
Programming the motor involves configuring the two sides: one function-
ing as the TOP "0" limit switch (placed at the end of the Upward move-
ment) and one functioning as the BOTTOM "1" limit switch (placed at
the end of the Downward movement). Configuring the two sides enables
the motor to stop the shutter movement automatically at the end of the
Upward and Downward movement. To position the two sides at the de-
sired points, carry out the procedure shown in Table A. To adjust the two
screws shown in the procedure, use key 585.10200, supplied.
Configuration B
• motor to the LEFT.
• roller in FRONT of the shutter.
