f Pour concrete into formwork and allow the concrete to
settle. Pour in enough concrete so that the base plate
(4) sufficiently protrudes from the adjacent ground.
f Install the foundation set (1).

f Mount the base plate on the foundation set.
f Insert the foundation set and the base plate in the
formwork.
f Align the foundation set and the base plate.
f Route the supply line (2) and the data line (if applica-
ble) through the hole in the base plate.
f Install foundation earth electrode (3) as per DIN 18014
(e. g. iron strips). Comply with local regulations.

f Fill the bottom two thirds of the foundation with class
C20/25 concrete.
f Allow the concrete to settle.
f Align the base plate (1) horizontally with locking
screws.
f Fill the remaining third of the foundation with low-
shrinkage concrete to enable the base plate to be
seated fully on the concrete. Do not set the base plate
in concrete.
f Allow the concrete to settle.
5.3.2 Using an existing foundation
A base plate that is available separately is required for
mounting the device on an existing foundation.

ATTENTION
Corrosion due to damage to powder coating
Drilling through the mounting holes of the base plate will
damage the powder coating and leads to corrosion of the
base plate.
f Use the base plate only as a template for marking the
drill holes.
