Key lock
The key lock function prevents inadvertent modification of settings. When the key lock
function is activated, the Πicon appears in the display.

Searching for a channel
Signals are searched for on all eight channels and all 38 CTCSS codes in a continu-
ous cycle. [ SCAN ] appears in the display. The channel search is stopped if radio
communication is found. Press the P button to enable radio communication.
