Drum bearings (PW 6167, PW 6207)
Once the service interval has been reached the
following message will appear in the display:
Lubricate drum bearings
§
Call the Service Department.
Press the A"Back" button to get rid of the message
in the display. This message will appear in the
display each time you switch the machine on until the
service work has been carried out by the Miele
service technician.

Disconnect the machine from the mains.
The grease nipples on the drum bearings need to be
lubricated after approx. 1000 operating hours with
Arcanol L 100.
When the machine is not in use
If the machine is not going to be used for a longer
period of time (4 weeks or more) the drum bearings
should be lubricated (PW 6167, PW 6207) as
described above and the drum rotated a few turns.
The drum should then be rotated again every 4
weeks to prevent damage to the bearings.
