Yearly Service - Faro SK07 Mode D'emploi

Instructions:
- Open the door of the printer compartment/CF Card of the autoclave.
- Unscrew fi lter 9 (Fig. 1) by rotating it anticlockwise.
- Screw it clockwise, ensuring it is fully screwed on.
Porthole gasket replacement
Check: yearly or every 1000 cycles
Instructions:
- Open the sterilising chamber door.
- Manually remove the gasket by grasping the lip with two fi ngers (observe how the lip of
the seal is fi tted).
- Clean the site of the gasket with a cloth moistened with alcohol or with a cotton-bud.
- Moisten the new gasket with water or alcohol.
- Fit the gasket in 6 points and then use one fi nger to arrange the parts of the gasket inside
the site.
- Insert the new gasket in its site with lips turned outward, arranging it evenly around the
circumference, using the fi ngers with constant pressure along the entire perimeter of the
gasket.
- On completion of the procedure, check that no points have been incorrectly inserted or that
the gasket presents no protrusion. In case of protrusions, remove the gasket and perform
the insertion process once again.
The gasket must be correctly positioned to avoid leakage. It must be inserted
along the entire circumference without either protrusions or deformations.

YEARLY SERVICE

After 1000 cycles or one year after installation of the autoclave.
On reaching the 1000th cycle, a memo message will appear on performing service. Service
includes replacing, cleaning and checking components, as specifi ed in the table below.
Yearly service shall only be performed by a qualifi ed FARO technician from a FARO After-
Sales Technical Service Network.
The intervention is already defi ned, and includes:
Replacement:
- porthole gasket
- bacteriological Bio X fi lter
- chamber fi lter
- water fi lter
- vacuum pump membrane kit (if necessary)
Checks:
- safe door closure system
- porthole door regulation
- safety valve
- water loading/unloading tank
- hydraulic connections
- electrical connections
- pressure and temperature calibration with SW
- electrical test protection
- effective vacuum pump function.
On completion of the intervention, the qualifi ed technician will issue a certifi cate stating
that autoclave yearly service was performed.
