The part reference "B-TD1724 ;
B-TD1724A" includes the following:
– Basic tool complete with battery
– Shoulder strap
– Spare battery
– Battery charger
– Canvas bag, type "009"
– 2,5 mm Allen key
– 5 mm Allen key
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The tool can be easily carried using either the handle or shoulder strap (T) attached to
the rings (R) (Ref. to Fig. 1).
2.2) Positioning
Position the head on the bush or nut as illustrated in Fig. 2:

ensure that the blade only cuts on the bush or on the face of the nut and not on
the washer.
- Incorrect positioning can cause blade and head damage.
- Never use the head for slackening or tightening nuts.
2.3) Splitting
– Press operating button (06) to activate the motor-pump group for the advancement of
the blade and split one side of the nut.
– To halt the blade advancement when the split in the nut is visible (see Fig. 3a) and retract
the blade (see § 2.3).
– Rotate the head by 180° and repeat until the opposite side of the nut is split (see Fig. 3b);
the nut is now completly split and can be easily removed.
2.4) Blade retraction
By pressing pressure release button (201) on the body of the tool below operating button
(06), the ram will retract, opening the blades.
2.5) Battery status

After releasing the operating button, the residual battery

capacity is automatically displayed for 5 seconds on the
indicator (04).

The number of LEDs illuminated indicates the residual
capacity:
10 LEDs illuminated: fully charged
5 LEDs illuminated: 50 % capacity
1 LED illuminated: minimum charge
