7.1.2 Installing the mains power unit
Only use the supplied mains adapter as a power supply.
Only a mains socket of the public supply grid should be used as the power source. Never try to
operate the device with any other voltage.
Never pull the cable of the power unit. Always grip the power unit's housing to unplug it. During
installation, make sure the connecting cables are neither jammed nor damaged by sharp edges.
Remove the mains plug unit from the mains socket and remove the batteries if the device is not
in use for a longer period of time.
Always pull the mains plug from the mains socket before cleaning the unit.
Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. In such cases, disconnect the appliance from
the mains and take it to a specialist workshop.
The enclosed mains unit should be installed near the centre and an easily accessible mains socket of the
public mains.
• Mark out the two attachment holes.
• Drill the holes and screw the mains supply unit into place
with suitable mounting materials. If necessary, use screw
fitters/plugs.
Make sure that there are no electric wires, water pipes, or similar systems behind where you will
be drilling.
