Code 2: Activation characteristic
Possible parameters are 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4
0 = immediate alarm activation
In this setting the alarm control centre (which is armed) immediately sounds the alarm after a change in the
resistance in the loop. The entry delay is not observed.
During the exit delay the alarm control centre does not sound the alarm, it must be armed. If the
loop exhibits an error and the alarm control centre is armed, the loop is deactivated.
1 = delayed alarm activation (1)
The alarm control centre only sounds the alarm when armed and after the first entry delay time is complete
(see Chapter 10.8).
2 = delayed alarm activation (2)
The alarm control centre only sounds the alarm when armed and after the second entry delay time is
complete (see Chapter 10.9).
The purpose of the two different entry delay times is to allow for the possibility, that you may
have two different entries (e.g. front door or garage) at two different distances from the control
panel. Thus there are two time delay periods, before the alarm control centre is disarmed.
3 = 24 hour loop
The loops set the 24 hour function are permanently actively monitoring. It makes no difference whether the
alarm control centre is armed or not. If there is a change in resistance the alarm control centre is activated.
4 = 24 hour loop (silent sabotage/tamper alarm)
The loops set the 24 hour function are permanently actively monitoring. The difference to code 3 is that the
alarm outputs are not activated. Thus the alarm is neither optically nor acoustically signalled. The alarm is
raised by the telephone dialler instead.
Note that the telephone dialler must be activated and programmed or this setting will not func-
tion.
The optical display (LED) lights up to signal which loop has been activated.
Code 3: Response time
Possible parameters are 0, 1, 2, or 3
0 =
25 milliseconds
1 =
250 milliseconds
2 =
500 milliseconds (factory setting for all 8 zones)
3 =
750 milliseconds
This is where you set the amount of time until the alarm control centre sounds the alarm after a change in
the resistance in a loop.
