Volume control

The volume of the incoming call signal depends on
your volume setting. The volume can be set in eight
steps from OF (off) to 07 using the
buttons. Confirm the selection with the talk button on
the left-hand side.

Connecting and using the headset

The radios can be used with an external microphone
and earpiece, a so-called headset. In this way, you
can keep your hands free for other activities. You will
find the connecting socket on the right-hand side
underneath a cover. Open the cover and insert the
plug into the socket. The loudspeaker and
microphone in the radio are switched off when the
headset is in use. Make sure that the microphone
opening remains unobstructed.
A small talk button is located on the microphone on
the headset.

Integral pocket torch

To use the integral pocket torch, press and hold the
button on the left-hand side.
NOTE: Please do not shine the light into
anybody's eyes.

Display illumination

You can switch on the display illumination for one
minute with the
- Operation -
button.
