in any danger and that there are no inflammable
materials near the working area.
W hen undertaking prolonged sanding of wood,
and in particular when working on materials
that give rise to dusts that are hazardous to

suitable external dust extraction device.
E nsure that there is adequate ventilation when
working on plastic, paint, varnish etc.
T he belt sander is designed for the dry sanding

be used for dry sanding only.
D o not sand materials containing asbestos.
Asbestos is a known carcinogen.
POISONOUS DUSTS!
Sanding paints containing lead, some types of
wood and metal for example may give rise to
hazardous or poisonous dusts and represents a
risk to the health of the person operating the
device and to anyone near the work area.
Wear safety glasses and a dust protection mask!
S ecurely support the workpiece. Use clamps or
a vice to grip the workpiece firmly. This is much
safer than holding it with your hand.

A void contact with the moving sanding belt.
D o not work on moistened materials or damp
surfaces.
A lways switch on the device before placing it
against the workpiece. After sanding, lift the de-
