The smoke detector monitors an area of 60 m² with a ceiling height
of 6 m at most.
It has to be mounted on the ceiling in the middle of the room as far as
this is possible. A distance of at least 0.5 m has to be kept to all ceiling
fitments and to the walls according to DIN 14676 (German standard).
Clocked power supplies such as energy-saving lamps, transformers
etc. are also considered as fitments. If the detector is mounted in an
attic, it has to be mounted at a distance of
-
0.2 m - 0.5 m from the top with a roof slope of up to 20°. The detector
can be mounted laterally offset and directly onto the ceiling/the roof.
-
0.2 m - 0.5 m horizontally with a roof slope of more than 20°.
