CMTinyCMTinyIQ_UM_9752097710_NL_D_GB_F_V1_1
Possible cause
No supply voltage
Faulty wiring
Cable break in the M12
connection cable/connector
High voltage set too low
CM Tiny IQ is not set to "Run"
mode
"Remote On/Off" signal is not
active
Output voltage set too high,
arcing at the charging
bar/electrode
Short circuit between charging
bar / electrode or HV cable and
earth
Generator overheated
Charging pulse too long
Power supply CM Tiny IQ too
low
Eeprom read error warning
Eeprom read error alarm
No communication between the
CM Tiny IQ and the Simco-Ion
IQ platform
Solution
Switch on 24 V DC supply
voltage (switch on Manager IQ
Easy)
Locate fault and remedy, see 5.3
Replace M12 cable/connector
Increase output voltage by
increasing setpoint (5.3/6.2/6.3)
Set the CM Tiny IQ to "Run"
mode (6.3)
Set the "Remote On/Off" signal
to active or set the CM Tiny to
"Continuous mode" (6.3)
Reduce output voltage by
reducing setpoint or increasing
distance to earth
Locate short circuit and eliminate
Make sure the ambient
temperature is lower than 55 ºC
Set the time for the charging
pulse and the charging pulse
warning to the correct value (6.3)
Check the power supply
Check the set parameters and
restart the CM Tiny IQ
CM Tiny IQ is defective, request
an RMA number
(Chapter 10)
Check the wiring between the
CM Tiny IQ and the Simco-Ion
IQ platform
Restart the Simco-Ion IQ
platform.
