Nod trimming:
If the helicopter tends to drift forwards, reduce the speed until the helicopter is standing on its skids again safely, and
then push the lower one of the two trim buttons for the nod function (also see figure 1, item 2).
Push the pitch lever carefully forward and check if the adjustment was sufficient. Repeat the procedure until the model
does not show any tendency to drift forward.
If the helicopter wants to drift backwards, push the upper one of the two trim buttons for the nod function (see figure
1, item 2).
Every operation of a button is confirmed by a short signal sound at a different pitch. The two end positions of
the trimming are indicated acoustically with a quick sound sequence, and the centre position of the trimming
with a longer signal sound.
There are 16 trimming steps each up and down. The last value set is automatically saved and called again
after re-activation of the remote control.
If the adjustment areas of the nod and roll trimming are not quite adequate for an optimum correction, you
adjust control of the main rotor blades mechanically. For further information, refer to the following chapter
„Fine-tuning the model helicopter".
Pitch trim:
Adjust the pitch value to the middle value with the two trim buttons for pitch trimming (see figure 1, item 9) (long signal).
The helicopter should then hover at a consistent height if the control lever for the pitch function is in its middle position.
If required, you can correct the control stick position where the helicopter is in hover flight with the two trim buttons.
Caution, important!
If you put the upper trim button repeatedly until the end position is reached, the rotors of the helicopter may
already start up if the flight battery is connected, even though the control lever for the pitch function is still in
the bottom position.
If the rechargeable battery is only connected after the pitch trim has been set to the final value, the electro-
nics in the model do not recognise the „motor off" position. The rotors will not start if the control lever for the
pitch function is pushed forward.
